Driven by customer demand, particularly from the transport and agricultural sectors, Autonomous IOT developed a mobile, rapid deployment off-grid unit for use in remote or awkward locations.

Within Edinburgh Airport, a single AIOT-C3 Smart Hub, mounted on a mobile tower, now watches over the far reaches of an on-site car park — generating its own power, carrying its own connectivity, and requiring no civils work to install.

Beyond the Car Park: Easing Tram Area Congestion

The same platform is also being put to work tackling congestion around the airport's tram area. The C3 uses its live camera feed and private 5G connectivity to give operators real-time visibility of traffic and pedestrian flow at one of the site's busiest pinch points.

This is a clear example of how a single, self-powered Smart Hub can be redeployed to solve more than one operational challenge, without any additional fixed infrastructure.
